Amaranth Thresher

What It does

The Amaranth Thresher separates the husks from the seed to increase efficiencies for small scale women farmers. Husking amaranth by wind, a woman farmer and her children work for over three days per plot. This amaranth thresher can achieve a higher quality product within 3 hours per plot. The design can be adjusted to be powered by hand or by electricity.
